Preseason is carrying on a little longer than expected but that’s a good thing.  Lots of new guys and lots of new ideas.

We’re almost there as we have our registration closed and are looking at rosters, schedules and ice availability.  The plan is to get started the week after Eid.

Thanks to everyone who signed up interested in the development team.  It shows your dedication to improving our program and we’re happy to have you represent the Camels.

Camels’ League Member Meeting
Place:  Al Nasr Leisureland (probably the downstairs restaurant)
When: Saturday, August 30th
Time: 8:00pm

All registered skaters, goaltenders and officials are encouraged to come out and give us your feedback.  We will be discussing what changes need to be implemented that will benefit the league.  We are looking for people who are willing to take on more responsibility to ensure this takes place.

As much as we want to make every individual happy our primary goal of this meeting is to ensure the health and continued growth of the league so please come with that in mind.

Ready, Set, GO! – DMC 2014-2015 Pre-Season

Hi All,

We’re just about to get going, so listen up!

  • If you know someone who is planning on playing and doesn’t receive this make sure they register on our website on the website.
  • Returning players MUST register on the website ASAP.  This is especially important for emergency contact info and jersey information.  If you registered before the emergency contact info was asked for, we will collect it from you later.
  • The cost for the season will once again be AED 2,100 and must be paid in full before the regular season begins.
  • League format, rosters and schedule will be determined in the next few weeks based on registration and feedback. (more to come)

Pre-season skates
Preseason Skates will be on Sundays and Tuesdays beginning on Sunday, August 31st.

Which Skate is Right For You?
Sundays – EHL players and those wishing to skate at a quicker pace should come to the skates on Sunday nights.
Tuesdays – Those looking to ease back in with less intensity and a chance to handle the puck more should come to the skates on Tuesday nights.

Registering For Open Skates
To register for this coming week fill in the form, link is below. If you submitted the form through the link on the website you do not need to do it again. Click here to see how many are registered for each night.

Pre-season skate registration

Filling in this form will indicate you will be skating on that given night.

Please do not sign up until you are 100% sure you are going to make it!

The cost will be AED 75 per skater per night and as always, please only come to one skate per week.

This is the final week of the season, we are playing out the last bits of make-up games. Once this week is done, we will finalize the standings and set the playoff schedule, so good luck to all!

Playoffs
The higher ranked team will always be the home team and will get first choice of the available goalies.

Qualifications (1 game)
Teams placed 7 through 10 will play a qualification game to enter the quarterfinals.

Qualification #1
8:30p – Sunday, March 16th
7 vs 10

Qualification #2
10:00p - Sunday, March 16th
8 vs 9

Quarterfinals (1 game):
Quarterfinal #1
8:30p – Monday, March 17th
3 vs. 6

Quarterfinal #2

Hi All!

We are happy to announce that the site has been updated with the scores, thanks to Kevin (just a few missing, contact us if you can help us with the missing scores). There was also a schedule change this week and next, so please check it out.

The 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi is taking place, good luck to all. Let us know if you have any suggestions on where to watch the Ice hockey games.
