HOTELS:
Dubai Hotels are known for booking up fast so best to book now and if you have to cancel you can. We are trying to work with a couple newer hotels on special rates, I hope to have these rates issued shortly.
TRANSPORTATION:
Taxi's are inexpensive in Dubai , with the exception of the first game you will not need to transport your hockey equipment to and from the rink. We will provide a room that is locked at night for all teams to store their equipment. The ‘RED ROOM' as it is called will be sectioned off so each team gets an area for storage etc. Small Team Buses are also available through Hotels, however if you wish to organize a team bus outside of your hotel I can provide a Transportation Company to assist.
SOCIAL EVENTS:
The world famous CYCLONE CLUB was shut down a week before last years tournament and is STILL SHUT. We are looking into a few new locations to host the social events. The ODD Spot (Directly Upstairs) will host one of the evenings as per normal.
TOURNAMENT RULES:
Official Tournament Rules will be issued prior to the tournament but standard Adult Recreational Rules will apply, No Hitting, No Fighting, Slap shots are allowed. Our Referee in Chief will issue any special rules prior to tourney at Captains Meeting. |
